The Grammy award-winning rapper Chris “Ludacris” Bridges journeyed back to his hometown ATL, to help host his annual LudaCrismas Christmas Winter Wonderland Party, at Mayor Kasin Reed’s Center of Hope, in Thomasville, Atlanta. During the holiday fete toys, books, winter clothes and coats were distributed to over 400 children sponsored by the Bridges’ own Ludacris Foundation. Over 150 children, all between the ages of 6-8 and members of Thomasville Recreation at the Reed’s Center of Hope, enjoyed holiday arts & crafts, games, entertainment, great food and a chance to take pics with Santa Claus and his special holiday helper, Ludacris.
“I have always believed charity starts at home,” Bridges said of his generous give-back fete. “It means a lot to me to celebrate Christmas by blessing the community that has shown me so much support over the years… the [Ludacris Foundation] just celebrated our ten year anniversary, so it’s good to leave this legacy and continue doing positivity and giving back to the city that put me on in the first place. It feels great.”
